Field hockey will look to snap a three-game losing streak during Homecoming weekend this Friday against Dartmouth. The Lions (6-7, 1-3) got off to strong starts against Penn and Bucknell last weekend but were unable to maintain late leads in both contests.

In a Friday night lights matchup, Columbia field hockey dropped its match 6-0 against No. 12 Princeton (7-4, 3-0 Ivy).  The Lions (6-5, 1-2 Ivy) struggled to keep play out of their defensive zone, and the Tigers’ offense capitalized on this advantage.

Field hockey will take on No. 12 Princeton (6-4, 2-0 Ivy) on Friday night, hoping to extend its winning streak to four games.  The Lions (6-4, 1-1) are coming off their most successful weekend of the season, following a 3-2 win over Cornell and a 4-3 overtime thriller against Rider.

Field hockey will hit the road for its first weekend of back-to-back matches against Brown (3-2) and Bryant (0-8). After splitting games with No. 12 Delaware and Fairfield last week with a loss and win, respectively, Columbia (3-3) will look to take its first weekend sweep of the season.
