Advertisers have the option of purchasing all ad spaces on a site page or section to effectively “block” other advertisers for a set period of time, ensuring maximum effect for your advertisements. Road blocks run for specified time periods of your choosing, between 3 and 12 hours in duration.
Similar to a TV commercial, interstitials make the reader sit through an advertisement before clicking through to content. The ad will disappear after 15 seconds, or when a user clicks “move on to content” and appear only once per visitor per day so as not to overwhelm.
Spectator publishes audio and video podcasts that are available for sponsorship. The sponsor is recognized with a static graphic placed immediately next to the feature link and is acknowledged within the pieces with an audio recording during the first 10 seconds.
