Today's top stories

CU’s on the Supreme Court: President Donald Trump nominated Neil Gorsuch, CC ’88, to the Supreme Court to fill the seat once held by Antonin Scalia. Fun facts: Gorsuch was a Spectator columnist and was disqualified from running for University Senate for breaking campaign rules.

The students’ say: Believe it or not, we actually have a (small) say in who Barnard’s new president will be. Students and faculty gathered for the first listening sesh of the year to discuss what the college should look for in the new president.

Closed-minded conversations: Are we really having open conversations at CU? Columnist Phil Jeffery, CC ’17, doesn’t think so, and calls for both liberals and conservatives to have more productive political discourse on campus.

It’s been a long time coming: Women’s bball played the longest game in program history on Saturday. Here’s what actually went down and what both the coach and players were thinking.

Pro tip of the day
