Although Saturday’s game against Harvard was cancelled, men’s soccer will still play a seven-game conference schedule, the Ivy League revealed on Friday.
The conference’s Executive Director Robin Harris decided that after the Crimson forfeited matches against Columbia and Penn, both schools will now play each other on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Princeton.
That neutral site matchup allows the Lions and Quakers to play a full Ivy schedule. It also represents an opportunity for Columbia to beat Penn for the second time this fall, following a 2-1 road victory in double overtime.
Harris added that the Light Blue—who remain tied for second with Dartmouth in the Ancient Eight entering this weekend—will still end its season at home against Cornell. But that match has been moved from Saturday to Sunday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m.
